Public Schools Are the Bedrock of our Democracy. Time to Use Democracy to Fight for Public Schools!
TEA Political Academy is a free one-day training to help set the stage for a successful 2020 election year. Offered by TEA leadership and the staff of Government Relations, the training is designed as a fun and informative day of organizing for political power. Members who participate will understand what is politically possible and have tools and resources to make their vision a reality. The training is strictly non-partisan, following the TEA idea that in politics “it’s not about R, it’s not about D, it’s about E.” The training is free, just SIGN UP to reserve a spot at our online portal here. Materials and lunch will be provided for all attendees who have registered.
There are two tracks to the TEA Political Academy: Building Political Power of Local Associations, and Individual Candidate Training to Win Elections.
Coming a great distance from Nashville? TEA reserves hotel rooms for the Friday night prior to the academy. These rooms are below market rate for Nashville and are subsidized by the association. Availability for these rooms is limited. Requests for rooms are made through the sign-up portal.
