Welcome to the Sumner County Education Association.
You are part of an amazing professional organization that includes three groups: SCEA, TEA, and NEA. By being a member of your local association, you have joined over 1,000 educators in Sumner County! As a member of TEA, you join more than 55,000 members — including public and private school educators, higher education faculty, support personnel, retired educators, students majoring in education and staff members. And, you are a member of the two million-member plus National Education Association. This three-way-partnership is the best way for us to deliver benefits, programs, and services to you of the highest quality. The Association's purpose at all three levels is to use the strength of our membership to address the needs and concerns of individual members, the education profession, and America's public schools. Be sure to sign in on the TEA website (www.teateachers.org) and use your member number to find hundreds of ways to save on things you use everyday. And please don't hesitate to call the office (452-6834) if you have any questions or need anything.
