• There will be a special called meeting of the Knox County Board of Education om Tuesday, Jan. 19th to discuss a potential resignation agreement and a possible buyout of Superintendent Jim McIntyre's contract. It will start at 5:00 at the Andrew Johnson Building downtown.
  • Gap Creek Elementary was the "School Surprise" winner from the October Representative Assembly. They will be receiving some gym equipment from KCEA on Monday, January 11th.
  • Cedar Bluff Pre-School was the "School Surprise" winner from the November Representative Assembly. Stay tuned for what they choose!
  • The Teacher Supply Depot  will be open from 7:00- noon on Saturday, January 23rd.
  • The upcoming election for KCEA Executive Board seats and TEA and NEA representatives will be held starting February 8th and continue through February 19th. 
  • The TEA Representative Assembly will be held in Franklin,TN May 13th-14th. The NEA Representative assembly will be held in Washington, D.C. July 2nd-7th. If you would like to nominate someone to be a representative, please e-mail the KCEA office.
