The Education Support Professionals Committee is an ad hoc committee. Its duties are to:

Act as advocate for ESP issues and concerns

Communicate needs of ESP members at state level

Promote interest in ESP professional conferences and self-improvement programs

Recommend legislation for ESP's through efforts of TEA

Encourage input from ESP members and leaders

Work to improve ESP/teacher relationships

Encourage ESP meetings to facilitate communications among employee classifications

Enhance communications with parents and others in the school community by facilitating efforts to forge partnerships and boosting public opinion about the value of education programs
