Our staff advises and assists the president, board of directors, local associations and other staff in public relations and communications activities.
Communications sponsors:
- The statewide School Bell Awards program to recognize Tennessee media for outstanding work supporting public education
- The Local Association Newsletter Contest to recognize excellence in the production of local newsletters and the newsletter exchange program
- Tennessee Space Week in conjunction with the Tennessee Space Grant Consortium at Vanderbilt University and NASA
- Training for local associations on various topics such as: newsletter production, media relations, organizing public relations programs, crisis communications, and message development and discipline
