The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARR) is now law. You will find updates on how, when, where and how much as this far reaching legislation rolls out. We will post information from government sources as well as the National Education Association, which played a substantial role in determining education funding and passage of the act, as details become available.

    The Department of Education launched a new web page for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) featuring press releases, detailed fact sheets, and state-by-state allocations for formula-based programs.

    White House's Recovery.gov  Web site -- This site seeks to education (explain the ARRA), transparency (show how, when, and where ARRA money is spent), and accountability (furnish data that will allow citizens to evaluate the act's progress and provide feedback). There are already projections -- based on ARRA language -- of the effect on jobs state-by-state.
